Olive Oil Gin Sour
A twist on a classic sour cocktail. The olive oil adds a silky texture and adds a layer of complexity to the flavors
Ingredients
2 oz gin
0.75 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
0.5 oz honey or simple syrup
1 egg white (optional)
0.25 oz Wildly Virgin Olive Oil
Garnish: Pinch of sea salt, fresh thyme sprig, lemon twist
Directions
In a shaker (without ice), add the gin, lemon juice, honey or syrup, olive oil, and egg white (if using). Dry shake vigorously to emulsify and create a foamy texture.
Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well-chilled.
Strain into a coupe or martini glass.
Top with a pinch of sea salt, a few drops of olive oil, and garnish with a lemon twist and a fresh thyme sprig.
