
Simple Ricotta Honey Crostini
A summer crowd-pleasing appetizer. Simplicity at it's best. As this recipe is really about letting the ingredients shine, make sure you get great bread, ricotta and of course olive oil.
Ingredients
French or Sourdough Baguette
1.5 cups of Ricotta Cheese
2 Tablespoons of Honey
Wildly Virgin Olive Oil
Fresh Thyme
Salt and Pepper
Directions
Start by making the crostini. Slice the baguette on the diagonal (about ½ inch) and then drizzle some olive oil and salt each slice. Grill or broil the slices til they are golden.
Mix the honey into the ricotta
Spread the ricotta mixture on top of the crostini, sprinkle with thyme, drizzle with olive oil, and add some salt and pepper. Enjoy!
