GOLD MEDAL WINNER - 2026 New York International Olive Oil Competition

Bright, green, and full of character, Verde is a certified organic DOP blend of four native varietals, grown on the same farm in the mountains of Trás-os-Montes in Portugal's rugged northeast. The oil you reach for when you want to make a simple dish feel alive.

Verde comes from master producer Joaquim Moreira. He farms with native sheep among the olive rows, runs one of Portugal's most meticulous mills, and lets the altitude and the ancient terroir do the rest.

Harvested October 2025. Polyphenol count: 441 mg/kg. Acidity: 0.14%.

Wildly Virgin olive oils are made from a single producer, a single grove, and a single harvest.

Producer

Joaquim Moreira didn’t grow up in olive oil — he started in Porto’s fashion world before returning to the land he loved as a child. In the mountains of Trás-os-Montes, he now farms organically and harvests by hand, believing the best oil comes from letting nature lead. Every part of his process reflects his eye for detail and sense of style — a producer whose oils mirror both the rugged terrain and his quiet precision.
