Welcome to Our First Harvest
Introducing our inaugural batch of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the wild lands of Portugal. With only 2,600 bottles crafted, this limited release is your gateway to the rustic beauty of the Alentejo region. Harvested early from Arbosana olives on a small, family-run farm, this unfiltered olive oil blends the natural sweetness of the olives with the rich, complex notes that come from an early harvest.
Why You’ll Love It
Pure and Simple: This is single-origin at its finest—each bottle comes from one farm, one producer, and one varietal.
Unmatched Quality: By harvesting the olives at the very start of the season and keeping the oil unfiltered, we've preserved its full flavor profile and all the polyphenols, where the health benefits lie. With a remarkably low acidity of just 0.20%, you can taste the freshness in every drop.
Culinary Versatility: João's Arbosana olive oil shines with aromas of green tomato, fresh cut grass and almonds. It's perfect for everything from drizzling over fresh salads to dipping your favorite bread.

João Mendes
João's family has been producing olive oil for four generations. With a dedication to sustainable farming he recently won an award from the Department of Agriculture as the first producer in Portugal to be 100% sustainable. Born and bred in the Ribatejo area he helps many local farms produce olive oil.

Alentejo, Portugal
Nestled in Portugal’s sun-soaked south, Alentejo is a land of rolling golden plains, ancient cork forests, and timeless olive groves. Here, generations of small-scale farmers cultivate olives using methods passed down through centuries, their craft shaped by the region’s hot summers and gentle winters—conditions perfect for creating uniquely rich, aromatic olive oils.
