Some olive groves are old. Some are ancient. The Thousand Year Special Reserve comes from a small olive grove on the slopes of Portugal's São Mamede mountains, where some trees are believed to have taken root as early as the 8th century. They were already old when Portugal became a country in 1143, and every autumn, incredibly, they still bear fruit.

Cláudia and Miguel Villax lovingly tend these trees and harvest them by hand to make what they call, an ancestral blend: the gentle sweetness of Galega balanced with the green pepperiness of Cordovil.

Each numbered 500 ml bottle comes with a pour spout and in a hand-crafted presentation box to tell the story of this unique grove, ready to gift or enjoy yourself.

5% of profits go back to Cláudia and Miguel to help preserve these ancient trees.

Harvested October 2025. Polyphenols: 506.5 mg/kg. Acidity: 0.17%.

Wildly Virgin olive oils are made from a single producer, a single grove, and a single harvest.
